Available in short and long wheelbases, the 2019 Ford Transit Connect offers just the right amount of versatility in a stylish yet functional package. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter gasoline direct-injected I4 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth power delivery and excellent fuel efficiency. The optional 1.5L EcoBlue® diesel engine provides enhanced performance and the ability to run on B20 biodiesel blends. EcoMode and EcoCoach help encourage efficient driving by monitoring fuel usage. The Side-Wind Stabilization System works in concert with Roll Stability Control to mitigate the effects of strong wind gusts during freeway driving. Other driver-assist safety features include Blind Spot Information System and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.
